Bowden's second string travelled to Horton House and, on a damp wicket at Stoke Bruene, were soon in trouble at 12 for 4.

 

Rob Gomez (41) and Simon Hobbs (20) gave the innings some sort of respectability, but the total of 108 all out was never enough as the home side, lead by MacDonald who hit 40, hit off the required runs for the lose of just four wickets. Jerry Horsfall claimed 2 for 10 for Bowden.
