Irchester 2nds vs Bowden 2nds

Irchester 2nds won the toss and elected to bat on a very overcast day.  Bowden Seconds, buoyed by their start to the season kept the momentum going by taking early wickets and restricting the opposition to 83 all out after 27.2 overs.  

The wickets were shared amongst all the bowlers Sam Keenan (3-15) Dan Poynton (2-9)  Steve Bellamy (2-14) and  Elliot Baker (2-23).

Tea was taken and Bowden CC slumped to 20 for 4 before Dan Poynton (30 not out) and Steve Bellamy (23 not out) steered Bowden to their third victory from four games. Keeping Bowden CC in 2nd place in Division 9.
