Home side Weekly & Warkton had to face the bowling of Bowden CC having lost the toss.

Weekly & Warkton had mixed fortunes at the crease losing a total of 7 wickets.  

Seb Fernandes-Smith took three wickets along with some excellent bowling.

Charles Lindsay contributing with a brilliant double wicket maiden.

Joe Pearson excelled in the field, preventing a ball from going for  four at Third Man and a brilliant return throw which resulted in a run out. Oliver Howland took a fantastic catch at Deep Square Leg and Samuel White gets a mention for his first U11 wicket this season. Once again, Bowden kept the bowling tight conceding only 20  extras.   

Into bat and Bowden played a sensible innings only losing three wickets. Howland and Pearson made a solid start, and then Fernandes-Smith crashing three boundaries in partnership with  and Lindsay added 13 runs.

Luke Barwick pitched in with a solid performance.

Closing the innings, Freddy Verbruggen had a solid innings adding 14 runs with 2 fours backed up by Tom Ainsworth.
