Bowden U13b Pairs narrowly missed out against Thrapston in their first league match.  Thrapston scored 279 with Bowden’s Gregor Montgomerie getting the only wicket.  In reply, Bowden reached 259 with Jonah Cotton top scoring with 15.  Like the A team they also lost in the cup, to Kettering CC. Kettering batted first and scored 104-4 off their 18 overs – Seb Fernandes-Smith collected a couple of wickets with one each for Freddy Verbruggen and Gregor Montgomerie. In reply Bowden were restricted to 50-6 with Fernandes-Smith and Joe Pearson top scoring with 9 each.
