Bowden Captain Jerry Horsfall won the toss and elected to bat on a flat wicket.

Bowden top three batsmen utilising the batting conditions, scored 100 off the first 19 overs.

Mick Brammer (55) Rob Gomez (26) and Ben Wade (23).

Bowden collapsed after a solid start and limped to 164 for 8 off 40 overs.  

After tea Bowden took the field and the bowling attack was tight and well backed up with excellent fielding.

Once again young Elliot Baker proving himself to be a promising opening bowler. However,  the best was yet to come with the cunning Lee Wilson (5-39) removing the middle order.  Colette Wale who bowled for the first time in the senior team did not disappoint, conceding just 20 runs from her 6 overs.

The pressure created by all the bowlers and excellent fielding secured the win by 34 runs as St Crispin Ryelands finished with 130 for 8 from their 40 overs.
