Abington Vs Bowden CC 2nd XI

Abington won the toss and put Bowden in to bat on a wicket that looked and proved to be a difficult batting surface.  It took a watchful Tony Roberts (29) Ryan Wilson (44) and extras (22) to take Bowden to 133 all out off 38.2 overs.

Bowden   took the field hoping to put the opposition under pressure by emulating the bowling performance of the previous week.  Unfortunately this was not the case as Abington openers put on 63 off 13.4 overs before the heavens opened. A 15 minute deluge soaked the wicket,  after a pitch inspection the umpires decided no further play.  Elliot Baker was the pick of the bowlers for Bowden CC with 4 overs 7 runs no wickets.
