Bowden's first team played host to top of the table Geddington seconds.
After two disappointing displays Bowden looked to change their losing run. A damp soft wicket favouring bowling meant that winning the toss was crucial.
Fortune favoured Bowden captain Sam Freer and he won the toss electing to bowl.
Sam Keenan (4-39) used the conditions to his advantage. Supported well by Wepener Groenewald (2-33) and Steve Bellamy (2-12). A spritely fielding display from Ben Wade resulted in a run out. Geddington finishing on 111 all out.
Bowden started their innings in a positive fashion. However, wickets tumbled when batsman established themselves. Dan Masic (25) top scored. Ben Wade (20 not out) and Sam Freer (18 not out) guiding Bowden to victory for the loss of five wickets.
Bowden travel to St Crispins and Ryelands hoping for another win.
