Bowden Reds traveled to Weekly & Warkton CC to play in the U11 Finals Day on Sunday.  Drawn against Kettering Town in the semi-final, Bowden were put in to bat.  Openers Claudia and Carys made some quick running from byes to make a solid start.  Second pair Mia and Katie G added some well needed runs with Katie scoring the highest amongst the girls.  Dylan and Hetty put a third pair partnership of 19 runs on the board and Jack and Katie R were the final pairing adding another 46 to set Kettering a target of 70 runs to win (5 wickets).  Kettering's reply was solid and consistent in every pairing eventually putting in 103 runs (4 wickets.  It was a great game played in good spirits, well done Bowden players, you did the club proud.
