Batting first, Pinks’ opening pair Collette Wale (50 retired not out) and Victoria Earland (34) put the team in a great position. This allowed Flora England to score a quick fire 33 and Kirsty Matthews 13 not out resulting in their innings finishing on 130-3 in 20 overs. In response, Irthlingborough started briskly but when their opener fell to Ema Garcia their run rate started to decline finishing on 91-2 in 20 overs. An all-round good team performance sees the Pinks now top the table. This Wednesday they are at home to Brixworth with a 6.15pm start.
