Bowden U13a’s had a successful week, beating Weekley & Warkton in the league and Market Harborough in a friendly.

Bowden batted first, accumulating 117 in their 20 overs – Sian Pyne scoring 21 and Harry Wilford 17.  In reply, Sam Stephenson was superb with the ball taking 5 wickets for just 2 runs in restricting the opposition to 48 all out.

U13a vs Market Harborough

Against Market Harborough, Bowden batted first and scored 88 in their 20 overs with Finn Carnduff and Tom Iliffe both retiring on 25 and 26 respectively. Freddie Page took the only wicket for Harborough.  In reply, Harborough were all out for 63 with Will Noble, Will Murray and James Owen each making 14.  Gregor Montgomerie took 3 wickets for Bowden with Elliot Mitchell and Callum Leat both claiming 2 each.
