Heyford 2nds Vs Bowden 2nds

Heyford won the toss and elected to field first.  

After a solid start from Fergus Kenny (28)  a loss of three quick wickets left Bowden  70 for 4.  

This brought to the crease Ryan Wilson who after a first ball scare never looked back and smashed the ball to all parts of the ground and was eventually bowled out for 69. Supported by Dan Poynton (20) and Steve Bellamy (21*) Bowden CC finished with a respectable 181 for 7 from their 40 overs.  

After tea Bowden CC took the field and immediately put the opposition under pressure with some tight Bowling from young guns Elliott Baker (2-13 and Tom Reeve.  A bowling change brought wickets from Steve Bellamy (3-20) and the hosts were up against it at 88 for 5.

Mick Brammer mopped up the tail with (3-11) and were all out for 128.  Overall a solid team performance secures maximum 30 points and a fifth win from six games.
