Bowden 2nds vs Bugbrooke

Bowden 2nds secured another win against top of the table Bugbrooke to bring them 5 points from top of Division 9.  

Bowden  won the toss and elected to bowl,a decision that after five overs may have regrettable as the visitors raced to 35 without loss.  

A bowling change brought a sudden collapse as Collette Wale ripped out the majority of the top order. Her four wickets for just 15 runs left the visitors reeling on 46 for 6 after 16 overs.  The visitors never really recovered and finished with 90 all out. Steve Bellamy clearing up the tail with 3 wickets from his 6 overs for 14 runs.

After tea Bowden CC went about knocking off the runs with an opening stand of 40 Fergus Kenny (18) Captain Jerry Horsfall (29) and Wepener Groenwald (21) steered Bowden across the line to finish 94 for 4 from 31.1 overs.
