Bowden salvaged a draw from the encounter against Wellingborough Old Grammarians.

Bowden Captain Karl Pollard won the toss and elected to field.

Old Grammarians  with a fair bit of luck, managed to score at a swift rate. Faz Shah (87) Anthony Shepherdson (87*) and Gary Small (46) the main contributors for OG’s.

Bowden knew that the task in hand to chase down 271 would be a difficult assignment. After losing batsman  Anthony Paton early on, Karl Pollard (35) and Ben Watts (37) provided a platform.

Bowden were unable to keep pace with the required run rate. Falling 75 runs short of the OG’s total. The highlight of the innings was a cameo from Sam Gomez (47*) who pushed Bowden to 196 for 6 after 53 overs.
