Match report A stonking performance from the U11's saw them disptach Illston Abbey comprehensively. A huge 65 run winning margin emphasied Bowden's superiority in the steady drizzle which fell throughout the match. But it didn't dampen the spirit.

Marcus Gray and Joe Howland got the innings off to a flying start, smashing 31 runs from their 4 overs. Joe creamed a spectacular cover drive off bended knee for 4 through cover - the shot of the day.Harry Amos and Joe Blyth consolidated the innings with a 20 run partnership. Ciaran Hill and Josh Wakefield continued the fun with a sparkling 26 runs from their 4 overs and Euan Hackett and Charlie Stacey, despite losing 3 wickets carried the score through to an impressive 288 from the 16 overs.

The bowlers then tucked in as Euan Hacket claimed 1 for 1; Ciaran Hill 0 for 15; Joe Blyth 3 for -3; Charlie Stacey 2 for 9; Marcus Gray 3 for -3; Joe Howland 2 for 0; Josh Wakefield 1 for 19 and Harry Amos 3 for -13 all joined the party as Ilston Abbey fell well short on 225 for 14.
