Match report Bowden Sunday XI took on Harborough Taverners. After being put in to bat Bowden failed to build on an opening stand of 77 by Steve Oldfield (77) and Andy Marshall (14), once Marshall had been run out, only Scott Fraser (14) would reach double figures as Bowden subsided from 115-1 to 145 all out. In reply Tom Reeve removed the dangerous John Lee, but Bowden would be left top rue dropped chances as opener Ben Wade went on to compile 65, and lead the Tavs to within sight of victory, befor ethe impressive Reeve returned to the attack to remove him. Reeve, with 2-30 and Ali Gordon (2-32) lead the Bowden attack but it was left to father and son duo, Steve and Charlie Lane to lead the Tavs past the winning post!
