Match report Bowden U13s, playing at home, came up against a very strong Medbourne team. Bowden batted first and found it difficult to build a decent score against a good bowling attack. Wickets tumbled consistantly throughout the innings and batsmen found it hard to score, with one exception, the hard hitting Tim Waterfield who proved his worth as a batsman by scoring a well struck 25 not out. This helped Bowden to a total of 92 for 8. Medbourne never looked troubled in their innings as they chased down the total with ease. The Bowden bowling did improve on last week by conceding fewer extras, and Will Lee bowled well to take the only wicket to fall, his figures 3-0-16-1 being the only highlight.
