As I write this with snow falling outside - the cricket season is starting next month!
This Saturday 2nd April we shall prepare the nets and ground as previous years from 9am and it would be great to see everyone there as many hands make light work. Please bring some general gardening equipment and gloves.
Saturday 9th April sees the Race Night return to the clubhouse with Gary and Alex Frith organising the event. If you have not paid Alex for your horse or ticket please do so asap and there are a few tickets remaining – please contact Alex Frith!
Thursday 14th April – First senior nets session from 6pm
Saturday 23rd April the 1st team have a friendly fixture
Saturday 30th April is the first league game of the season for all teams with the 1st team away in Wellingborough, the 2nd team at home to Old CC and the 3rd team are home (at East Calton Park) to Weldon CC 3rds.
Sunday 1st May is the first league match for the women’s team away at Kettering Town.
Please tell your captain your availability for these games and all of May as soon as you can – this will help out the captains enormously in organising the teams in advanced.

- May 28th – Shocking Shirt Night
- June 25th – Quiz Night
- July 30th – Curry Night
- August 27th – Night Out
- September (Date of last game) – End of season social and night out
- October 29th – Cricket Awards Dinner
