Following the Government's latest advice around social distancing in connection with the Coronavirus outbreak, the England and Wales Cricket Board has today recommended that all forms of recreational cricket are for now suspended.
Bowden Cricket Club has acted upon these recommendations and suspended all it's activities with immediate effect.
This extends to all training, practice sessions, pre-season friendlies and any associated cricket activity, including Club meetings.
The outbreak has serious implications for the 2020 cricket season. However, none of the leagues that we are associated with have written off the season, to date.
The Club intends to keep this decision under review and will endeavour to keep it's members informed of any developments.
