Bowden CC held its Annual Race Night on Saturday the 9th April.

Over 50 race goers attended the event to watch and gamble on the 8 races on show.

The winner of each race won a bottle of wine and box of chocolates as their prize.

Race 1-  Freddy Boy-    Danny Varnsverry

Race 5- Mr Ping- Emily Varnsverry

Race 6- Call the Vet- Lucas Bibby

Race 7- Big Dolly- Katie Varnsverry

We would like to thank everyone who attended the event, and those who sponsored the Horses and Races.

We managed to raise £530 on the night a great effort!!!

I would like to personally thank my helpers on the night, Lucy and Simon Hobbs ,Gary Waterfield and Jayne Keightley.

Also a big thank you to Mick Maile for giving up his Saturday night to keep  everyone supplied with liquid refreshment!
