It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to JT who passed away on the 19th January.
JT was a stalwart opening batsman for Little Bowden, Harborough Taverners and Bowden CC.
For many years his dulcet cry of 'Wait On!' was heard at both Symingtons Recreation ground and then at Bowden.
After retiring from cricket JT made the transition into umpiring for Bowden until he moved to Yorkshire to live with his sister.
After a long fight with illness. He was cremated in Elland West Yorkshire on the 2nd February.
His ashes are to be brought down in the Summer for a memorial event at the Cricket Pavilion.
