08 Dec 2014

Bowden Cricket Club has been recognised by cricket's governing bodies for maintaining nationally recognised high standards in the organisation and running of the Club.

David Bailey, the Cricket Development Officer for clubs for Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket recently presented a certificate to mark the successful completion of the England and Wales Cricket Board's 'Clubmark' Reaccreditation process which, recognises the Club as a well run community club providing, amongst other things, a safe, positive and fun environment for juniors.

Club Chairman, Rob Gomez said "We were only the third club in Leicestershire to attain this status in 2005 and we are proud to now have passed three further reaccreditation processes, which are carried every three years, to maintain this high standard".
